was an exchange student from Indian Institute of Technology in Bhubaneswar (India).
Yasuno leads Computational Optics Group at the University of Tsukuba. He obtained his PhD for spatio-temporal optical computing in 2000, and extend the theory of optical computing to optical measurement. Since 2003 he has been studying an application of optical computing to high-speed medical imaging, which is currently recognized as Fourier-d
omain optical coherence tomography (FD-OCT). He is current research interest is functional extensions of OCT including polarization sensitive OCT, OCT angiography, and its unified version, so called as Jones matrix OCT.

PhD of Medical Physics
I finished my two master studies, technical mathematics, and Biomedical Engineering, in 2015 at the Technical University of Vienna. In the following, I received my PhD in Medical Physics in 2020 from the Medical University of Vienna. I joined the group of Prof. Yasuno in January 2021. With the support of a fellowship of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) I will be able to conduct my postdoc position at the University of Tsukuba for 14 months. My current focus of research lies in designing, setting up and testing OCT . Furthermore, my interests are integrating multimodal extensions to OCT systems and developing novel image processing tools.
